Day 1 | Arrival in Rishikesh
Distance: Arrival Day
Welcome to Rishikesh, the gateway to the Himalayas and the starting point of your Char Dham Bike Tour. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind after your journey. In the evening, attend the tour briefing, meet your ride captain and fellow riders, and complete the motorcycle inspection. You can also explore the local markets or witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 2 | Rishikesh → Barkot
Distance: 170 km
After breakfast, begin your Himalayan motorcycle adventure towards Barkot. Ride through scenic mountain roads, lush forests, and charming villages while following the beautiful Yamuna Valley. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan landscapes before reaching Barkot. Check in to your hotel, relax, and prepare for the first Dham visit. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3 | Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot
Distance: 45 km Ride + 12 km Trek (Approx.)
Start early and ride to Janki Chatti, the base point for the sacred Yamunotri Temple. Trek to the temple, seek blessings of Goddess Yamuna, and visit the holy Surya Kund and Divya Shila. After spending time at the shrine, return to Janki Chatti and ride back to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 4 | Barkot → Uttarkashi
Distance: 100 km
After breakfast, ride towards the spiritual town of Uttarkashi, nestled on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Enjoy scenic mountain roads surrounded by pine forests and picturesque valleys. Upon arrival, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple if time permits. Check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.
Day 5 | Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi
Distance: 200 km
Today’s ride takes you to the sacred Gangotri Temple, the origin of the holy River Ganga. Ride through beautiful Himalayan roads, passing Harsil Valley, waterfalls, and dense deodar forests. After offering prayers at Gangotri Temple and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 | Uttarkashi → Guptkashi
Distance: 220 km
After breakfast, begin your ride towards Guptkashi, one of the most important stops on the Char Dham route. Travel through spectacular mountain roads, crossing the famous confluences of Rudraprayag and other scenic river valleys. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest before the Kedarnath journey. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7 | Guptkashi → Kedarnath → Guptkashi
Distance: 30 km Ride + 16 km Trek (One Way)
Begin your day early and ride to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Trek through breathtaking Himalayan scenery to reach the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. After darshan and exploring the temple surroundings, return to Gaurikund and ride back to Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 | Guptkashi → Badrinath
Distance: 190 km
Wake up early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas, with views of the majestic Nanda Devi on a clear day. After breakfast, begin your return ride to Rishikesh, Ride through the stunning Garhwal Himalayas towards Badrinath, one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations in India. En route, enjoy magnificent mountain views and pass through Joshimath. Visit Badrinath Temple and, if time permits, explore Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibet border. Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath.passing through Haldwani and the scenic foothills of Uttarakhand. Enjoy regular refreshment breaks along the way before arriving in Rishikesh for your final overnight stay.
Day 9 | Badrinath → Rishikesh
Distance: 300 km
After an early breakfast, begin your return ride to Rishikesh. The journey passes through the sacred Panch Prayag—Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag—where the Himalayan rivers merge. Enjoy scenic mountain roads and beautiful landscapes before arriving in Rishikesh for your final overnight stay.
Day 10 | Departure from Rishikesh

The advance amount is non-refundable.
100% of the Total Trip Cost is Payable to Confirm Your Booking. Once 100% amount is paid,
- Cancellations are made before 30 days of the start date of the trip, We will return 50% of the remaining amount.(Please note advance amount is non-refundable)
- Cancellations are made before 15 days of the start date of the trip. We will return 25% of the remaining amount. (Please note advance amount is non-refundable)
- Cancellations are made before 0-15 days of the start date of the trip. No amount is refundable.
In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

- A non-refundable deposit of 5,000 is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before departure.
Cancellation by Organizer
- If we cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund or reschedule your booking.
Safety & Liability
- Participants join the trip at their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings. Please follow the instructions of the guides and inform us of any medical conditions before the trip.
Itinerary Changes
- The itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. If delays or cancellations require additional accommodation or transport, the extra costs will be borne by the participant.
Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and accidents is strongly recommended.
Participant Responsibilities
- Participants should be physically fit, carry appropriate winter clothing, be punctual, and respect fellow travellers, guides, locals, and the environment.
Code of Conduct
- Any misconduct, harassment, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or political unrest.
Assumption of Risk
- Winter travel involves risks such as cold weather, slippery roads, and high-altitude conditions. By joining the trip, you accept these risks.

Important: This trip includes several long travel stages through remote mountain regions with limited infrastructure. Our support vehicle will provide primary assistance to reach the nearest medical facility if required, as helicopter and ambulance services may not always be available. Mobile network coverage is limited, and communication with emergency services may be difficult in certain areas. Road conditions can change rapidly due to weather, snowfall, landslides, or other natural factors, which may result in delays or necessary changes to the itinerary for the safety of all participants.

Is the Inner Line Permit included in the package?
Yes. The required Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Indian nationals is included in the tour package. Our team handles the complete permit process before the expedition. Riders only need to provide the necessary ID documents within the specified timeline.
Can I ride my own motorcycle?
Yes. You can join the expedition with your own motorcycle, provided it is in excellent mechanical condition and suitable for Himalayan terrain. Our Ride Captain will inspect the motorcycle before departure. If you prefer, you can also rent a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 from us.
Can foreigners join this tour?
Yes. Foreign nationals are welcome to join the Char Dham Bike Tour with a valid passport, Indian visa, and required travel documents. Our team will assist you throughout the booking process.
Is fuel included in the package?
Fuel is included only for riders renting a motorcycle from IndianBikeRiders. If you are joining with your own motorcycle, fuel expenses are not included and will be your responsibility.
Which motorcycle will be provided?
We provide the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, specially chosen for Himalayan expeditions. The motorcycle offers excellent comfort, stability, and performance on both mountain highways and challenging off-road sections.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made before the departure date are subject to our cancellation policy. Cancellation charges vary depending on how close the cancellation is to the departure date. Please read our Terms & Conditions for complete details or contact our team for assistance.
