DAY-WISE ITINERARAY

DAY 1 : Arrival in Rishikesh

Distance: Arrival Day

Welcome to Rishikesh, the adventure capital of India and the starting point of your Himalayan motorcycle expedition. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after your journey. In the evening, explore the vibrant streets of Rishikesh or witness the famous Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Later, join the tour briefing, meet your ride captain and fellow riders, and receive important information about the upcoming adventure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Rishikesh.

DAY 2 : Rishikesh → Gwaldam

Distance: 230 km

After breakfast, begin your Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure towards Gwaldam. Ride through the scenic Garhwal Himalayas before entering the beautiful Kumaon region. Along the way, witness the sacred river confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag, where the mighty Himalayan rivers meet. Enjoy winding mountain roads, breathtaking landscapes, and peaceful hill towns before reaching Gwaldam for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3 : Gwaldam → Munsiyari

Distance: 161 km

Today’s ride takes you to the spectacular hill station of Munsiyari, renowned for its panoramic views of the majestic Panchachuli Peaks. Ride through dense deodar forests, picturesque villages, and stop at the beautiful Birthi Waterfall. After arriving in Munsiyari, check in to your hotel, relax, and enjoy dinner with stunning Himalayan views.

DAY 4 : Munsiyari → Nabi / Gunji Village

Distance: 180 km

Wake up to breathtaking mountain scenery before starting your ride towards Nabi/Gunji Village. The route follows the scenic Kali River through Dharchula and includes exciting off-road sections as you enter the remote Vyas Valley. Experience dramatic landscapes, mountain roads, and increasing altitude as you approach the Indo-Tibet border region. Dinner and overnight stay in Nabi/Gunji Village.

DAY 5 : Nabi Village → Adi Kailash → Nabi Village

Distance: 80 km

Today is the highlight of your expedition as you ride to the sacred Adi Kailash, one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in the Himalayas. Travel through Kuti Village, passing mandatory permit checkpoints before reaching Adi Kailash. Visit the beautiful Parvati Sarovar, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. Spend time exploring this spiritual destination before riding back to Nabi Village for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 6 : Nabi Village → Om Parvat → Dharchula

Distance: 160 km

After breakfast, continue your adventure towards the legendary Om Parvat, famous for its naturally formed snow pattern resembling the sacred “Om” symbol. Depending on permissions from the Indian Army, continue towards Lipulekh Pass, one of India’s highest border passes. Enjoy spectacular Himalayan views, thrilling mountain roads, and an unforgettable high-altitude riding experience before descending to Dharchula for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 7 : Dharchula → Kasar Devi (Almora)

Distance: 220 km

Leave the high mountains behind and ride through scenic Kumaon roads towards Almora. Visit the ancient Jageshwar Dham Temple Complex, one of India’s oldest and most sacred Shiva temples, before continuing to the peaceful hilltop village of Kasar Devi, known for its spiritual atmosphere and stunning Himalayan views. Check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

DAY 8 : Kasar Devi (Almora) → Rishikesh

Distance: 350 km

Wake up early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas, with views of the majestic Nanda Devi on a clear day. After breakfast, begin your return ride to Rishikesh, passing through Haldwani and the scenic foothills of Uttarakhand. Enjoy regular refreshment breaks along the way before arriving in Rishikesh for your final overnight stay.

DAY 9 : Departure from Rishikesh

Enjoy your final breakfast before checking out of the hotel.   • Cancellations are made before 30 days of the start date of the trip, We will return 50% of the remaining amount.(Please note advance amount is non-refundable)
  • Cancellations are made before 15 days of the start date of the trip. We will return 25% of the remaining amount. (Please note advance amount is non-refundable)
  • Cancellations are made before 0-15 days of the start date of the trip. No amount is refundable.

In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 5,000 is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before departure.

Cancellation by Organizer

  • If we cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund or reschedule your booking.

Safety & Liability

  • Participants join the trip at their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings. Please follow the instructions of the guides and inform us of any medical conditions before the trip.

Itinerary Changes

  • The itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. If delays or cancellations require additional accommodation or transport, the extra costs will be borne by the participant.

Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and accidents is strongly recommended.

Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants should be physically fit, carry appropriate winter clothing, be punctual, and respect fellow travellers, guides, locals, and the environment.

Code of Conduct

  • Any misconduct, harassment, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the trip without a refund.

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or political unrest.

Assumption of Risk

  • Winter travel involves risks such as cold weather, slippery roads, and high-altitude conditions. By joining the trip, you accept these risks.

Important: This trip includes several long travel stages through remote mountain regions with limited infrastructure. Our support vehicle will provide primary assistance to reach the nearest medical facility if required, as helicopter and ambulance services may not always be available. Mobile network coverage is limited, and communication with emergency services may be difficult in certain areas. Road conditions can change rapidly due to weather, snowfall, landslides, or other natural factors, which may result in delays or necessary changes to the itinerary for the safety of all participants.

DOCUMENTS REQUESTED :

Yes. The required Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Indian nationals is included in the tour package. Our team handles the complete permit process before the expedition. Riders only need to provide the necessary ID documents within the specified timeline.

Yes. You can join the expedition with your own motorcycle, provided it is in excellent mechanical condition and suitable for Himalayan terrain. Our Ride Captain will inspect the motorcycle before departure. If you prefer, you can also rent a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 from us.

Currently, no. Adi Kailash and Om Parvat are located in a restricted border area of Uttarakhand. As per the current government regulations, the required Inner Line Permit is generally issued only to Indian nationals. If the regulations change in the future, we will update the tour eligibility accordingly.

Fuel is included only for riders renting a motorcycle from IndianBikeRiders. If you are joining with your own motorcycle, fuel expenses are not included and will be your responsibility.

We provide the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, specially chosen for Himalayan expeditions. The motorcycle offers excellent comfort, stability, and performance on both mountain highways and challenging off-road sections.

Cancellations made before the departure date are subject to our cancellation policy. Cancellation charges vary depending on how close the cancellation is to the departure date. Please read our Terms & Conditions for complete details or contact our team for assistance.
